We visited 32 of our National Parks. That seems like a lot until you consider there’s 24 more we didn’t see. Only 11 of those are in the continental states, though, and three of those require travel via air or boat.
We touched each of the five Great Lakes as well as the Atlantic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico.
In the process of hanging our hats at 116 different campgrounds, 11 driveways and one Wal-Mart parking lot, we saw 115 friends and family members on our trip.
After an unsuccessful boycott of stores utilizing shopper rewards cards, we caved in. Now we have a handsome card collection from 29 different establishments.
